Most companies have yet to realise the digital delights that the world is talking about, although many are at least aware of the fact that they need to leverage new technologies to transform their business.
According to this recent McKinsey article, leadership and talent are among the biggest hurdles to digital transformation success. It highlights the fact that those making headway are devoting their best people to digital, and keeping them engaged.
McKinsey is not alone with when it comes to emphasising that digital transformation needs talent. In this ‘digital talent gap' report Cap Gemini and MIT revealed that 77% of companies considered missing digital skills as the key hurdle to their digital transformation.
